Desi Junction Dance Dhamaka 2025

An Explosion of Talent, Culture & Celebration

Are you ready to light up the stage? Desi Junction proudly presents Dance Dhamaka 2025, the ultimate dance competition happening during Summerfest on Saturday, August 9th, 2025 at Busse Woods, Schaumburg, IL.

This is your chance to showcase your passion, precision, and power through the rich rhythm of Indian dance – in front of a live audience!

Competition Categories

Choose your style, bring your energy, and wow the crowd:

Bollywood – High-energy filmy moves, cinematic drama, and Desi swag
Classical – Graceful expressions and traditional techniques (e.g., Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Odissi)
Folk – Colorful and vibrant cultural dance styles (e.g., Garba, Bhangra, Lavani, Ghoomar)

Eligibility & Age Categories

Open to all dancers, divided into the following age categories:

Junior: Ages 6 – 12 years
Teen: Ages 13 – 17 years
Adult: Ages 18 years and above

Solo, duet, or group performances welcome!
Judging criteria include creativity, expression, choreography, stage presence, and audience engagement.
